Canadian Firearms Safety Course Schedule

The timetable below is typical of courses scheduled on weekends by many instructors. The minimum hours required vary by province. Evening courses may also be arranged, please inquire with an instructor in your area. Please contact an instructor for more information.

Saturday,
8:30am to 6:00pm

The non-restricted part of the course (long guns). This is the regular Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) and if you are not interested in handguns or restricted rifles, this is all you need.
Sunday,
9:00am to 6:00pm
The restricted, or "handgun" part of the course (CRFSC). You must ordinarily take the CFSC to attend this session.
Exams The CFSC and CRFSC exams are usually administered at the end of the courses. Must have completed the course prior to the exam.
Evening Courses May be available on request, for groups only. Sessions typically run four hours/evening: the first three evenings are the CFSC and the fourth one is the CRFSC.

Courses are scheduled as required or according to a preset schedule, depending upon the instructor.
